Professional graduation photos on the UCI campus by a UCI alum. Celebrate your Anteater milestone with stunning portraits you will treasure for a lifetime.
Campus Locations
UC Irvine offers a wide variety of scenic backdrops for graduation portraits. Here are the most popular locations I recommend for your session.
The heart of campus. Towering trees, lush greenery, and dappled sunlight make Aldrich Park the most iconic UCI photo location. The winding paths create depth in every frame, and the natural shade keeps the light soft even on bright days.
With its striking exterior and grand columns, Langson Library gives your photos a classic, timeless feel. The steps leading up to the entrance create natural leading lines that draw the eye directly to you in your cap and gown.
The Infinity Fountain near the Student Center is a sleek, modern water feature that photographs beautifully. The reflective surface and clean lines add a polished, contemporary feel to your graduation portraits.
The bronze Peter the Anteater statue near the Student Center is a must for every UCI grad. It is the most beloved campus landmark and instantly tells the world where you earned your degree.
The iconic water tower mural near the ARC features the Anteater mascot and is one of the most recognizable symbols on campus. It makes for a bold, uniquely UCI backdrop for your portraits.
The large UCI entrance sign off Bison Avenue is a classic spot for graduation photos. It is the first thing you see driving onto campus and the perfect way to mark the end of your journey as an Anteater.
The Paul Merage School of Business features modern glass and steel architecture that gives your photos a sharp, professional look. The clean lines and open courtyard make it a favorite for MBA and business graduates.
The Science Library offers a quieter, more intimate setting with lush surrounding greenery. Its unique architecture and nearby gardens provide a variety of angles for creative, standout portraits.
Home to UCI commencement ceremonies, the Bren Events Center is where your journey officially ends and the celebration begins. It also features its own anteater statue out front, giving you another iconic mascot photo op alongside the building where you walked the stage.
The Social Science Gateway is known for its colorful stained glass tower and distinctive brutalist architecture. The geometric lines and vibrant accents create a bold, eye-catching backdrop that stands out in any gallery.
The Mathematical Sciences and Teaching Building features stunning arched walkways that frame your portrait beautifully. The repeating arches create depth and symmetry, making MSTB one of the most photogenic spots on campus.
About Your Photographer
Guramrit Malhotra / G
As a proud UC Irvine graduate, I have spent nearly seven years photographing fellow Anteaters on the campus I know and love. From the shaded paths of Aldrich Park to the modern lines of the Engineering Gateway, I have captured hundreds of graduates in the spots that make UCI special. That familiarity means your session runs smoothly, with no wasted time figuring out where to go next.
With professional off-camera lighting and a relaxed shooting style, every session feels natural and fun. You will not be stiffly posed in front of a building. Instead, you will move through campus hitting the best light at the best locations while I capture candid moments alongside polished portraits. The result is a gallery that feels like you, not a cookie-cutter template.
I deliver all raw, unedited photos within 24 hours so you can start sharing your celebration right away. Fully edited images follow within 7 to 10 days. Whether you are graduating from the School of Engineering, Biological Sciences, Social Sciences, or any other program, your UCI graduation photos will reflect the hard work and joy of this milestone.

"Had an amazing experience working with G as my grad photographer! The photos turned out absolutely stunning, and I couldn't be happier with the results. G knew all the right poses and made the entire process feel natural and comfortable. He has the perfect balance between being professional and chill, which made the session really enjoyable. Highly recommend G for anyone looking for high-quality photos and a great experience."
"LOVED working with G! I'm so glad I decided to go with him when I took my grad photos. He let me keep ALL of the photos and was open to any places or ideas that I wanted to do. I had two culture outfits that I had to do and felt bad because it would take more time, but G reassured me that it was okay. I never felt rushed which was one thing I get nervous about when choosing photographers. Also, I was able to get the pictures back quickly which I was appreciative of."
"10/10! Insanely fast turnaround to get ALL the original photos and to edit the ones I chose! Great session, makes you feel super comfortable. Also, the only photographer I've seen that actually lets you have all the original photos! Organized, professional, and experienced."
