Best Photo Spots at USC
USC's campus is rich with history and stunning architecture. Here are the four locations I recommend most for your Trojan graduation portraits.
Tommy Trojan
The Tommy Trojan statue at the center of campus is the most iconic symbol of USC. Nearly every Trojan graduate wants a photo here, and for good reason. The bronze statue surrounded by the Trojan Shrine creates a powerful, recognizable backdrop. I time the visit to avoid peak crowds so you get clean, uncluttered shots with this legendary landmark.
Doheny Memorial Library
Doheny Library is the architectural crown jewel of USC. The Romanesque facade, arched entrance, and grand staircase offer endless composition options. Whether shooting from the front steps or using the pillars to frame your portrait, Doheny provides a timeless, stately feel that looks stunning in both color and black-and-white edits.
Alumni Park
Alumni Park is a beautifully landscaped green space near the center of campus. With its mature trees, open lawns, and connection to the broader Trojan community, it is an ideal location for relaxed, natural-looking graduation portraits. The park also offers great options for family and group photos with plenty of room to spread out.
Bovard Auditorium
The red brick exterior and white columns of Bovard Auditorium give your photos a classic collegiate aesthetic. This building sits prominently on Trousdale Parkway, and the long walkway leading up to it creates a dramatic approach shot that works beautifully for both solo and group compositions. It is one of the most underrated photo spots on campus.
