The Sue and Bill Gross School of Nursing at UCI produces some of the most dedicated healthcare professionals in California. Graduating from nursing school is a major achievement, and your photos should capture the pride and determination that carried you through clinicals, exams, and everything in between.

Nursing graduates often include special touches in their grad photos: stethoscopes, nursing pins, white coats, and scrubs alongside the traditional cap and gown. I encourage you to bring any items that represent your journey. These props add a personal, meaningful element to your portraits that generic photos cannot match.

For recommended photo locations, I suggest starting at Aldrich Park for the natural greenery and soft light, then moving to the Peter the Anteater statue and other central campus spots. The Science Library area on the north side of campus offers a quieter, more intimate backdrop that many nursing graduates prefer.
